The Tourism Real Estate Agency strives to develop tourism through the acquisition of lands (amicable agreements, expropriation, partnership, or exchange) and by constructing infrastructures in harmony with the national infrastructure master plan.

It works for the development of the sector by providing downstream conditions in terms of real estate and infrastructures, necessary for the execution of tourism projects, the reinforcement of the existing tourism network, the creation of new areas and the development of new products.

AFT constitutes a leading development agent for Tunisian tourism, its contribution in the achievement of objectives set for the tourism development strategy (along with other stakeholders) fulfilled the aspirations of the sector which is proud today to rely on a solid heritage and a rich and diversified tourism product.

AFT’s future is promising and its growth in an increasingly developing national and international tourism environment is carried out according to the new objectives set for the restructuring of companies so that they can be upgraded in order to win the quality challenge, and can start the 21st century with the voice of Excellence.

1. Property Control:

Since its creation, the Tourism Real Estate Agency has provided Tourism professionals with lands required for the realization of 170,000 beds, 3 integrated stations (Kantaoui in Sousse, Tabarka, Hammamet-Sud and Marina Houmet Souk-Jerba) as well as the development of Saharan tourism areas : Tozeur, Nafta, Douz and Kebilli; 6 Gulf Courses (2 in Hammamet, 2 in Monastir, 1 in Djerba), as well as entertainment resorts.

2. TTourism Development:

In terms of development, actions are translated by:

The updating and revision of tourism development plans in almost all areas.
The launch of Saharan tourism areas (Tozeur, Nefta, Douz and Kébilli and Saharan circuits).
The launching of several tourism stations (Hammamet, Mahdia...).
The launching of a new integrated touriem station in Hammamet Sud.

3. Tourism Infrastructures:

The tourism infrastructures program is part of five-year term development plans related to the sector.

The implementation of development plans have mainly focused on the equipment of tourism resorts with the necessary infrastructure, such as potable water, power, telecommunication networks, roads, drainage systems and protection of the environment.
