Creation and Mission

The Tourism Real Estate Agency (AFT) is a civil, industrial and commercial public institution having its own financial autonomy.

It was created by Article 1 of Law n° 73-21 dated April 14, 1973 concerning the development of industrial and housing tourism resorts
.
The organization and operation of the Agency are managed by decree n° 73-216 dated May 16, 1973 as complemented and modified by subsequent texts.

AFT has the following mission:

Acquire lands in tourism zones.
Regularize legal property conditions of lands located in intervention areas, and determine owners’ rights
Conduct development plans and reorganize lands located in intervention areas, in order to create parcels with various facilities
Execute necessary infrastructures.
Put said parcels on sale for the development of tourism projects
Ensure healthy real estate conditions and provide beneficiaries with their property certificates.
