Tourism and land property control

The implementation of development plans could not be achieved without a full understanding of land property aspects.

This has incited the Government to create the Tourism Real Estate Agency, legally liable to have control over lands available in tourism areas and provide them to investors in due time and consequently stamp out speculation.

This measure enabled investors to focus on technical studies of their projects without spending much effort in often burdensome and complex land acquisition and regularizing procedures.
